Caleb Anderton

With an acting resumé longer than a velociraptor's front claw, and a voice like melted chocolate over velvet, Caleb is the voice acting tour-de-force of Improv Tabletop. Christian Randell

Connor Wood

Evan Peterson

If there's anybody here who's more surprised to be in an improv troupe, I don't know who it is. Though he entered the improv world with very little theatrical training, Evan's skill on stage quickly blew past his peers' due to his keen perception, delightfully dry wit, and extensive knowledge of film and pop culture references.

Outside of improv, Evan enjoys buying classic movies that he'll definitely watch someday, using his overpriced gaming PC to play indie games, and building fantasy worlds that he'll definitely use as D&D settings for his friends maybe.

Heather Brower

Heather is that cool mom whose house everybody wants to hang out at, you know? Whether playing a serious role, a comedic role, or anything in between, the emotional intensity Heather brings to her performances never fails to lift the energy of everybody around her.

Heather is proof that you can still be cool even if you surround yourself with a bunch of nerds. But as you're sure to hear in her episodes, she can roll the dice with the best of them!

Justin "JP" Porter

I'm pretty sure JP's been acting for longer than any of us around here, and it definitely shows in how quickly and deeply he inhabits the characters he creates. His love of both classic and modern comics, cartoons, and action films is palpable, and brings a wonderful energy to our games.

Just some of the pop culture figures JP has managed to figure out how to turn into D&D characters: Captain America, Thor, Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, Goku, Robin Hood, Buster Scruggs.

McKenna Steel

As much as she tries to play her characters like she's our group's Marisha Ray, we all know she's more like our group's Laura Bailey (#IYKYK). With a powerful stage presence and a lovely singing voice to back it up, McKenna provides a wonderful blend of theatrical experience and delightful irreverence.

Need somebody to spruce up your Animal Crossing island or Stardew Valley farm? McKenna's got you covered. (In fact, she's the only person I know who's beat Junimo Kart.)

Thomas Brower

Let's be real here. Thomas was the one who ran that Pathfinder campaign that got Ned back into tabletop gaming, and Thomas was the one who first sent Ned that video about Fate. So really, without Thomas, this podcast probably wouldn't exist. Does that make Thomas the father of Improv Tabletop? Well, it at least makes him the father of most of the cast's geekdom.

When he's not on ImpTab, you can hear Thomas as the Dungeon Master of our sister podcast I Cast Fireball, a D&D 5e actual play! If he's not podcasting, he's probably playing board games, teaching his kids board games, browsing Kickstarter for new board games, arranging his massive board game collection, or obsessing over Batman.

Thomas Ryan

Sure, Thomas may be the only person in the cast who hasn't had any formal acting training, but after Ned spent four years playing D&D with him multiple times per week, Thomas has proven himself not only to be an apt tabletop gamer, but an apt performer and storyteller as well! But maybe one of these days Ned will force him to read Truth in Comedy or something.

You like watching people play video games? You're in luck! Thomas streams on Twitch as TheManlyJones. Will you see him roasting Evan while they play Minecraft together? Will he be attempting fresh file runs of Hades and actually beating the first boss? Will he be starting yet another corn cult in the worship of Piloswine (yes, the Pokémon)? You'll just have to find out!

Ned Wilcock

Two of the most fulfilling hobbies Ned has ever pursued are tabletop gaming and improv performance. With so many correlations between the two, it was only natural that someday he'd find a way to combine the two in a way that fully embraces what is so unique and compelling about both.

When he's purveying fantasy worlds and doing dumb goofs and make-em-ups, Ned enjoys graphic design, a nice jaunt in the fresh air, futzing around in his kitchen, and reading books. Currently reading: Bump in the Dark by Jex Thomas, Savage Pathfinder Advanced Player's Guide 2 by Pinnacle Entertainment Group, and Heart: The City Beneath by Rowan, Rook & Decard.

Ned has not worn socks since January 2021.
